When autumn rolls around, many of us have a desire for change. Whether it's drastic or subtle, one thing's for sure -- we want a change for the better. The latest trends for fall and winter 2008-2009 will distinguish a variety of hairstyles and cuts, many of them inspired by celebrities.

Length and Cut

What's different this fall is that short hair is just as trendy as long tresses. Whatever your preferred length, volume is essential. Texturing gives movement. Layered, razor-cut styles allow for wispy, sexy strands. Ends are casually flipped under or over (but not curled) using a blow dryer, paddle brush, and/or flat iron.
